Consultation on the recovery of fuel from unsorted waste through mechanical-biological treatment
In accordance with Section 6.6 of the Specifications, effective January 1, 2024, Léko is required to offer to organize the collection of unsorted packaging waste for any local authority that requests it
In order to organize the management of sorting rejects from sorting centers in accordance with its obligations under the Terms of Reference and to drive a process of industrialization and innovation aligned with Léko’s “Zero Landfill” goal, Léko is launching a request for proposals for the conversion of these sorting rejects from sorting centers under contract with local authorities into fuel.
The purpose of this consultation is to select one or more service providers capable of carrying out, on behalf of Léko, the processing of waste into solid recovered fuel (SRF) and the fuel recovery of this sorted waste in the form of SRF (“Flux”), under conditions that comply with applicable regulations, are economically viable, and are environmentally sound.
