Léko Pro is now state-certified to assist companies subject to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for commercial packaging.
If you place packaging intended for professional use on the French market, you are required to comply with certain regulatory obligations. By joining Léko Pro, you transfer these obligations to an accredited eco-organization and receive expert support to ensure your compliance.
Stemming from the AGEC Act, Extended Producer Responsibility now applies to commercial packaging (EPRO). This applies to all sectors of activity (industry, commerce, logistics, food service, etc.) and to many types of packaging used in B2B, such as crates, pallets, plastic film, cardboard boxes, drums, and cans, as well as primary production packaging and transport packaging.
Effective July1, 2026, this new Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) applies to all market operators: manufacturers, importers, distributors, or industrial companies that place this packaging—or packaged products—into the commercial market. These stakeholders must now take responsibility for the end-of-life management of their packaging, either by joining an eco-organization such as Léko Proor by establishing their own system to ensure collection, recycling, or reuse.
