As part of the national consultation on the Plastics Plan, Léko is sharing lessons learned from its on-the-ground experience and making concrete proposals to accelerate the reuse and recycling of household packaging.
Our belief is simple: the priority is not to radically overhaul existing systems, but to accelerate their rollout by relying on clear and accessible solutions that have already proven their effectiveness.
Drawing on our experience, we propose to focus on three priorities:
- Making Reuse an Open and High-Performance Industrial Sector
- Provide local governments with quick and easy support through proven solutions to improve waste collection and sorting
- Building an effective, complementary, and economically sustainable recycling system
These proposals share a common goal: to improve environmental performance, control costs, and make the most of existing infrastructure.
