It is now official: the specifications and scope of the extended producer responsibility (EPR) scheme for professional packaging were published on December 18, 2025, in the Official Journal:

📅 Reminder of the schedule:
➡️ January 1, 2026: entry into force of the perimeter decree
➡️ February 28, 2026: submission of applications for approval of candidate eco-organizations
➡️ July 1, 2026: entry into force of the EPR for Professional Packaging, without retroactivity
Producers affected by EPR for professional packaging will be able to join Léko as soon as its approval is published in order to be compliant by July 1, 2026, and submit their 2026 market forecast at the same time.
