Léko's call for reemployment projects (AAP), open between July and September 2024, attracted strong interest with 112 applications from 87 different structures.
Its aim was to support the development of effective reuse projects in a variety of sectors.

The applications received include initiatives in research and development (R&D), traceability and washing, as well as initiatives to collect and apply for support to help producers convert to reuse, by bearing the extra cost of reusable bottles and soluble labels.

A total of 28 projects have been selected, spread over 8 French regions. Beneficiaries include retailers, companies specializing in reuse, associations and operators. The projects cover a wide range of themes:

Development of local re-use channels,

-Transition to reuse for producers,

-Installation or optimization of washing systems,

-Design of reusable packaging for e-commerce,

-Creation of deconsignment systems,

-Feasibility studies.

A total funding envelope of €800,000 has been allocated to support these initiatives, representing a major step forward in the structuring and development of reuse channels in France.

Among the projects selected:

  • The ore carrier VelleminfroyVelleminfroy, Franche Comté's only mineral water, plans to convert its Vintage range into reusable bottles, representing an annual volume of one million bottles.
  • In the cosmetics sector, BLEUVERT which has launched a range of hygiene products (body washes and JE SUIS BIO deodorants) sold in eco-refills and returnable glass bottles.

Driven by a sustainable vision, Oenoco is committed to optimizing the entire distribution chain and actively contributing to the revival of the deposit system in France, particularly in the wine sector.
  • Léa Nature is a member of a consortium of 8 key players in the dermo-cosmetics sector (Biocodex, Expanscience, La Rosée, Léa Nature, NAOS, Pierre Fabre, SVR, Uriage), whose aim is to develop the refilling of dermo-cosmetic products in pharmacies, and at the same time to accustom consumers to new consumption patterns. This consortium project embodies the values of the collective, enabling us to test new distribution models and overcome the barriers (notably financial) to the roll-out of bulk sales.
  • AOC Languedocin partnership with Oc'consignewill work with 50 winegrowers to encourage and support a massive switch to recycling by wine producers in the region.
