Launched last May, our call for projects was a great success and reflects the growing interest in reuse solutions in France!
With 42 applications received, this year’s edition brought together a diverse range of stakeholders: marketers, reuse operators, nonprofit organizations, distributors, and local governments. These organizations are active in a wide range of industries, including beverages, agri-food, food service, hygiene, cosmetics, and e-commerce.
This initiative reflects stakeholders’ growing interest in reuse and their commitment to offering concrete solutions tailored to the needs of local communities.
The quality of the projects presented shows that these initiatives are maturing. The challenge now is to enable them to expand on a larger scale so that reuse becomes a practice firmly embedded in people’s habits.
Through this call for proposals, Léko aims to foster this momentum by supporting innovative initiatives and contributing to the development of robust and sustainable reuse systems.

Spotlight on 5 projects that illustrate the diversity of the initiatives we support
Among the 37 projects selected this year, discover five inspiring initiatives chosen for their strategic impact in advancing reuse:
1. So Verre – Traceability and POS integration for reuse
Born out of the desire of several reuse operators to speak with one voice when dealing with supermarket and department store chains and to facilitate nationwide deployment, Soverre now operates the largest network of collection points in France. This project aims to integrate a national catalog of reusable items directly into stores’ point-of-sale software to streamline the management of deposit and return processes and optimize interoperability and traceability.
2. MBSR x CCCPS — A bottle return machine in a public space
Creating a glass bottle collection machine installed directly in public spaces: that is the goal of Ma Bouteille S’appelle Revient and the Crestois and Pays de Saillans Community of Communes. This project combines R&D efforts and capital investment to design and test a reverse vending machine (RVM) that would facilitate collection in rural areas.
3. Super Flacon — An LCA tool for evaluating an entire product line
Super Flacon is launching a Life Cycle Assessment of its entire product line, with the goal of publishing its carbon footprint. This project will make it possible to rigorously quantify the environmental benefits of reuse and make them clear to consumers.
4. Oenoco — The First Barometer of Wine Industry Reuse
To support the wine industry’s transition, Oenoco is developing the “2026–2027 Deposit Barometer for the Wine Industry.” This major field study will assess how prepared wineries are, identify the volumes that can be mobilized, and accelerate the transition to action among winegrowers.
5. Opopop — Development of new reusable envelopes
Opopop is developing a new reusable packaging format for e-commerce in response to a specific need expressed by e-commerce retailers for shipping books, photos, and small, fragile items. This R&D project aims to develop a rigid, reusable envelope that meets their needs and is designed to replace single-use cardboard envelopes.
Congratulations to all the 2026 award winners for their dedication, creativity, and contribution to the growth of the reuse sector!
