📅 Milestones to remember:
- The specifications are expected in the next few days
- February 28, 2026: submission of applications for approval of eco-organizations
- July 1, 2026: obligations come into force, without retroactivity
🔎 What this means for producers
Specifically, companies will have to:
• join an eco-organization as soon as its approval is published in order to be compliant as of July 1, 2026
• submit their 2026 marketing forecasts when they join, and then submit their actual declarations in January and February 2027.
